Why ain't my note 9 charging wireless when it says it is.

Whenever i try to charge my note 9 on a wireless charger the promt shows up that it's charging and it also says in the top right corner. But after a while it has gone down in power. And the problem isn't that it isn't charging, when it's off it's charging all though slowly. I have tried the normal removal of case, restart phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you actively using the phone for anything while it's charging? If so, the power you're using for the activity might be outpacing the charge rate. Also, when you say it's charging slowly while the phone is asleep, how does it compare with a normal charger (that isn't a fast charger)?
