Its made out of friggin Gorilla glass... all these stupid screen protectors ARE A SCAM. You will sooner rip the screen protector off than scratch your evos screen. Furthermore, there is no such protector that helps with oil. The oil residue (which we ALL naturally produce on our bodies) will come into contact with whatever you are touching. It will not magically vanish into thin air because of a plastic screen protector.
Cmon guys... do your homework. Stop aimlessly spending money on crap.
I want to get a screen protector for mine but cant decide which one to get. Does anyone have any recomendations for a decent priced good quality one, and where I can get it?

I just took my screen protector off. I have no idea what kind it was, BB put it on for me when I pre-ordered my phone, but it SUCKED. I hated it. I'm in the process of getting a new one (wrapsol | complete scratch-proof protection systems for iphone, ipod, macbook, blackberry, nokia, lg, samsung, sony, htc, nintendo and more. -- getting the ultra scratch+drop protection, dry application), but couldn't handle the other one anymore. Needless to say, while the screen protector is off, I'm being extra super careful with my phone.
Maybe this is off topic, but I LOVE using the phone without the screen protector on. This is the first touchscreen phone I've owned and so I don't know much about how the screen protectors feel, but using the phone without one is so slick and smooth. I hope now that I ordered a better one, it won't be as unpleasant to use.
But yeah, I don't care if it was made of 100% unbreakable glass, I wouldn't trust myself. I could find a way to break most anything.
I've been without my Zagg for a little over a week now. I love how the screen feels, but I have to clean it constantly. As soon as my replacement Zagg comes it, it will go right back on.Maybe this is off topic, but I LOVE using the phone without the screen protector on. I spilled cheesecake jello on my Pre. I have the Amzer screen protector on, so I just wiped it off

Well, you may have your foot-in-mouth and not the person starting this post. The Evo does have Gorilla glass. Ask Sprint or HTC. I put a screen protector on mine because while it is really tough glass, it is still glass. I will be able to scratch it. I have a talent for scratching smartphone screens. I have also seen videos online showing that while Gorilla Glass outlasted other types, it did get scratched. It took a heck of a lot more, but it did.
