Why can I not look something up on the Internet while on a phone call?

Why can I not look something up on the Internet whIle on a phone call.

I upgraded my s5 for a s6 thru us Cellular. Now I cant be on the phone and look something up online at the same time. unfortunately With my job this is very important. I was told the s6 would do this before I bought . Can someone PLEASE tell me how to fix this? Of course that's I'd it CAN be fixed.
