Why do images not work on my Samsung Galaxy 4?

Everytime I go on instagram or facebook, its 1 50/50 chance that I can see photos.
Most of the time on instagram the photos will not load and keep telling me to refresh the image which never works.
This has been happening since I got the phone less than a month ago.
Any advice on this would be very much appreciated

maybe a internet conection problem have you tried clearing cache in the app?

I agree with Stingdrop, it's likely a data issue. Uninstall then reinstall the app and see if that helps.

Definitely agree with the posters before me.

Also, double check the app settings for both; Facebook and Instagram. Make sure they are set the way they're supposed to.

Strange, I think this might be the problem as when I turn off the wifi on my phone, my apps work fine.
However Im not sure there is a connection issue because all other devices and computers work perfectly on the wifi. Not sure why this is just happening to my phone?
