I've also had major batt loss since updating to Mm, after few days I got fed up and did a factory reset, has done nothing to help me, unplugged at 7am and by noon I was sitting with 25%, that is pathetic compared to lollipop which by 9pm I had the same...... Hopefully there is help!

This is crap, I'm pretty miffed. My phone crapped out at 4:00, 1.5 hrs on the phone, 3 hrs on the screen time...done. With Lolipop under that usage I'd be at 35-40% at bedtime. How the heck am I supposed to work when it doesn't even make it though a light day? Arrrggghhhhh...this kind of stuff is unacceptable with Android.

Not really sure what to do at this point, it's a perfectly good phone, at least it was. Really makes it hard for me to purchase another Android device.

I don't plan on updating my G4 to MM, not until these battery issues get sorted out.

I too had the same issue with terrible battery life on my LG G4 after updating to Marshmallow. I was able to 'fix' it by going into the General Settings>About Phone-uncheck the Activity Log box. My LG battery now gives me the same or better battery life before the update.

So weird.

Verizon G4 here. MM for a week now via the OTA update. No FDR...not even a cache clear.

Been off the charger for about an hour and still showing 99%! Sitting in a waiting room, reading these forums on 4g, 38min screen on @ 70% brightness, Bluetooth & wifi always enabled.

No activity log options (as described at least) in the Verizon build.

(edit...4hrs on battery, 1hr screen, 80% remaining)

(and again...8.5hrs on battery, 2.5hrs screen, 40%)

(last...plugging in @ 11.5, 3.75, 15%)

Darn. I went through so many things. looking under the apps under battery usage etc. I saw the screen brightness had been set to 100% also, which i didn't notice after the update, so I turned that down to 70% as well,.but i really think un-checking that Activity Log button did it for me. I see on so many forums folks having to do factory reset. I've never done one, don't know what all is involved either, but it was something I was sure I didn't want to have to do.

Mine was like this for just over a week. Send out two texts and battery would drop 1-2%. It would drop just sitting in my pocket. Then today, for no reason, battery life is outstanding. So maybe it needs time to settle in.

So I have been on MM for about two months and I can honestly say it's one of the worst battery life i have had. All the tweaks suggestions shouldn't be needed if I buy a product it should work and I shouldn't have to be doing tweaks to get great battery life. This comes down to LG implementation of MM really which is why am now considering a Nexus 6p.
