Why has my Note 3 S Pen stopped working?

My note 3 S pen stopped working

Out of no where the S pen on my N9005 note 3 stopped working. I thought it was a pen issue but the same S pen workes fine on other devices.

Not sure what happened ??

Does the screen respond to your finger? When was the last time you restarted your phone? It could also be that your phone "thinks" the pen is still in the silo. Try a restart.

There's a separate layer on the screen that the pen "talks" to - if that went bad, the pen wouldn't function (it's not just a plastic replacement for your finger). Try restarting, as nahoku said. If that doesn't work, you may need a new screen.
