Why is my Prime not recognizing Barnacle wifi tether?

I am not picking up barnacle wifi tether from my Prime. Anyone have any thoughts on why this isn't working and what I can do to get it up and running?

Do you know for a fact that Barnacle is working on your phone? Can other wifi devices attach to it? I tried rooting and installing Barnacle on my Droid 2 a few weeks back, only to discover that Verizon has implemented functionality to detect and break the wifi tethering unless you have paid extra for it.

It worked fine on two different idevices, but still not being recognized by my prime. Thoughts? I've already removed vzw hotspot via titanium.

it worked on two different devices but right now can you connect with another device?

VZW is taking measures to block it but those measures might not be in the hotspot app on the phone.

If you can confirm barnacle does work for some device then you can look into why the prime just can't connect.

Open Garden seems to do a good job from my Thunderbolt to my Prime.
