Why is VZW's own website now showing Galaxy Nexus as having only 16GB?

Is it a typo or a new model? I thought it was just a typo... but the title shows 16GB
and the specs on the bottom of the page also shows 16GB???

Has to be a typo. Samsung only made a 32GB version for VZW.

Wish they made the same mistake with billing.

This is probably a marketing strategy to sell more units at a reduced price. For some reason, 16 gigs of room costs Samsung $100.

Isn't the Galaxy Nexus being EOL.
Maybe they ran out of the 32GB model and only have the 16GB left.

under new model# and SKU#, but costs $50 more than the
old 32GB VZW Galaxy Nexus($49.99).

I bet this is because the new Nexus will not be a 32gb model and they don't want the new to compete with the old 32gb model

The new Nexus is made by LG and will have 16GB.

Why would Samsung care if the current Verizon Galaxy Nexus has 32GB?

Unless Google can demand that Samsung stop making 32GB Galaxy Nexus?

Maybe so people buy the SIII instead if they want 32g. I was upgraded 2 days ago from a slew of faulty Charges to a 32g nexus. Lucky I guess...BTW does everyone's nexus say Google and show a colorful X when it starts instead of saying Samsung???

People who want extra storage buy 16GB Galaxy SIII and a Sandisk 64GB MicroSDXC card for $47 on Amazon.(sold & shipped by Amazon)
That's why my friends do. 80GB of storage on a smartphone is bare enough, unfortunately.

the 16GB VZW Galaxy Nexus must have the shortest life of all Verizon smartphones....
both of my local VZW corporate stores have removed them from the displays.

Google has stopped selling the the Galaxy Nexus in the Play store. I have the VZW 32GB Galaxy Nexus. Still a great phone com paired to the new LG one. With it only having the global standard, GSM on board, only up to 16GB of storage and being unlocked. It looks like Google is pushing the Nexus to be a developer only phone. Its a shame. If they had at least a 32GB model with US LTE, it would have been a HUGE hit in the US.
