I don't use voice commands on any phone. And I don't use google maps on any phone. Next....
Jennell, you don't have to be so confrontative all the the time in my threads. People are ticked that Verizon is forcing Bing onto them. And you're not the only one who uses an Android phone though. Next...
Damn shame, when you think about it.... I'm waiting for the Bionic, but at the same time, really starting to get frustrated with waiting for its release. In fact, I stopped into my local Verizon Wireless store over the weekend and got a closer look at the new LG Revolution. I was very impressed with the phone overall - nice screen, great look & feel, and the performance was the best out of all 3 LTE phones. Almost pulled the trigger - that is, until I saw Bing in the apps list! Back to waiting for me!!
I know the feeling man. When I was about to jump ship, I looked at the LG Revolution, and then I read that it got Bingified, I said no way. Very impressive phone, but I do not want to be saddled with Bing on a google phone. And to top it off, the LG phones are said to be close to stock than a lot of the other phones on Verizon.
I'm on your side here, Miz. Keep in mind Bing isn't ruining her Android experience. You are trying to make a point to someone who could care less, because she is using a fruit phone...
Yeah, you're right. I just hate how she pulls herself off here though as evident up above.
Not to stir the shizzle here, but do YOU know what you're talking about? The DROID Incredible 2 and the DROID Charge are both as Bing-free as your iPhail. I'm confused as to how exactly this fact would make you an authority on the implementation of Bing on Android devices.
Anyway, to echo what some have already said here, I don't have anything against Bing per se, but it does render features inoperable that otherwise come in handy if Google were the search engine. YMMV,
Bryan
Exactly.
