Why won't my Message+ send button work when the keyboard is visible?

Hello,
I have a Galaxy S5 running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow updated to G900VVRU2DPF4 and now when I reply to a message using Message+, the send button (paper airplane), won't work if the keyboard is visible. If I type a message, then touch send, nothing happens. I have to press the "back" button on the phone itself to get the keyboard to go away, and then I can touch the send button. Any resolution to this?

Same issue. Started yesterday.

Same here on an LG G4. I restarted which fixed it temporarily, but it's back.

I've read a couple of threads reporting this same issue and no solution so far. Does the problem persists if you boot your phone into safe mode? This process temporarily disable all your third party apps. I wonder if this problem could be related to the recent overlay bug. Maybe some conflict with apps that need 'draw over other apps' permission.

I'm having the same issue the last couple days as well after I updated my phone. I just tried restarting it in safe mode, and the issue is solved (in safe mode). Does this mean an app I have is causing this to malfunction?

Welcome to the forums. I think something in the latest update is creating a conflict with some apps that need the 'draw over other apps' permission. For most users this conflict is caused by Clean Master or some other apps by Cheetah Mobile. Do you have any CM app installed in your phone?

Thank you. I don't appear to have any CM apps, but I have a few random ones that I probably don't need. I will remove those, and see if that helps!

I have an HTC desire eye. The same thing happened to me which is very frustrating. it has been several days now on every app Facebook messenger, line and everything. I don't know what to do.

I have just begun having the same issue. Galaxy S5. Type a text in Message+ and hit send and nothing. I have to close the keyboard in order to have the send button work. Has anyone come across a fix for this yet? It is frustrating. I have missed sending several text messages because I didn't realize that they hadn't sent.:-
