Galaxy S8 clock on main screen not updating to DST

The lock screen and upper righthand corner clocks/time automatically updated to DST, but main screen clock did not. I double checked automatic update, restarted 2 times. Nothing will make the main screen time update. It appears to be connected to a weather channel app, but not seeing this in my apps. The weather clock is correct.

Samsung S8 weather widget didn't update to daylight savings time

The main clock time on the phone (Samsung S8) moved forward 1 hour correctly for daylight savings time. However, the standard weather/clock widget is still 1 hour back. Who/where does one contact to tell them the US has changed to daylight savings time?

Re: Galaxy S8 clock on main screen not updating to DST

I'm having the same issue. Did some research on the internet, and so far as I can tell this is a bug related to the system installed weather app (though I've tried suggested fixes, including restarting my phone and no luck). The clock updated just fine when daylight savings started back in November, though.

AT&T S8 Weather/Time widget didn't update to Daylight Saving Time

The other apps on the phone did update to DST. ( AOD, Unlock Screen, Noti Panel, etc. )

the clock/weather widget on my Galaxy S8 shows 2 different times

The built-in weather/time widget has the correct time under the weather portion, but the main large digital time has not updated for daylight savings time. The time setting in the phone is correct and all the time info is correct except for the large time display from the widget. How can I correct the large time display?

How to change the time on Samsung widget

Time changed but not my Samsung widget. I've tried deleting, reinstalling, turned my phone off, looked for an option to reset manually, added other cities, nothing works. Any suggestions. Its not a huge deal just a bit annoying when I think I am OK on time then learn I'm an hour late 😓

How do I change the time on the widget clock? Phone auto updated to correct time with Daylight savings change, but widget will not update. I restarted, changed to manual update vs auto and restarted again and clock is still set an hour behind.

Welcome to Android Central! Which Samsung phone do you have? Have you already tried wiping the cache partition?

Re: Galaxy S8 clock on main screen not updating to DST

Several threads merged.

It seems to be a common problem with at least one recent Samsung update. (Meaning "no way to fix it until Samsung issues another update".)

Only thing I discovered is if you go to your Weather settings in the app and remove your current location, your time will update, but kind of defeats the purpose.

OK, here's what I did that works - Go into settings, apps, select the weather app, force stop, then clear data and clear cache. You might have to do this several times.

Goes back when you enter the location though so still unusable.

Re: Galaxy S8 clock on main screen not updating to DST

It's also off in the weather app on my gear s3 watch. Was off last time change as well until they updated the app for the time.

My Note8 has the same problem with the large clock on the weather widget being 1 hour behind wherever the auto location or city is selected. I tried turning off location services, cleared the cache and memory, removed all cities. The large clock was then correct, but once location is turned back on, the large clock goes back to 1 hour behind.

I'm having this same problem and I've tried all the suggestions I saw, but nothing worked. Please help!!
