WiFi 6 in da house! 802.11ax is rocking the wifi!

On your phone, under Wi-Fi settings, click on the connected SSID. What link speed do you see (864/960/1080/1200/...)? Then take 55% of the link speed for an estimate of maximum throughput.

I have the Note 10+ and the Asus RT-88AXU and Xfinity Gigabit internet. I get 975Mbps down and 45Mbps up via Wired. Now with my first AX device (Note 10) I get anywhere from 500 to 800Mbps down. I'm only pulling 2 streams from my router (it can do 4) and my phone advertised speed is showing 1.2Gbps so yeah your right, about 55% of that is what I'm getting and I have no bottlenecks. So AX wasn't all that great as I get similar speeds on my old S8+. BTW my router has the latest Merlin firmware. I've tried enabling the 802.11ax HE Frame Support but it always say disabled after I enabled it and I've tried putting everything on auto thinking there was a prerequisite.

The bigger speeds are also going to require wide channels which will probably pick up interference from other networks as their is likely to be overlap. Even at 80 Mhz channels there is likely to be interference.
