Hi,

I have enabled WiFi and set WiFi to Never Sleep (Settings -> Wireless & networks -> WiFi Settings -> Advanced -> WiFi Sleep Policy is set to "Never"). When I leave the phone idle for a while (like a few hours), WiFi is turned off automatically and am on 3G. If I manually enable WiFi, the cycle repeats.

How to prevent WiFi from getting disabled?

Thanks.

I haven't changed the settings for when I use wifi in my phone. It usually just starts up again (sometimes takes a few seconds) when I unlock the phone.

My experience when this happens is when there is heavy traffic
Try removing the back panel. To reduce heat in the phones case. I think its a safety thing

wi-fi on my phone works as planned... when phone screen shuts off, it turns off, but when i bring it back up, it comes on, a few seconds to discover the network i'm assuming...

are you using any kind of juicedefender or similar program? i haven't had any issues with wi-fi - i can keep it on for days and have no problems...
