If this were to happen, do you think this could cause Samsung to lower the pricing on their folds? Samsung usually likes to be lower price the apple.

There will be a folding iPhone, I have no doubt about that. The folding phone concept will probably take off once apple releases it. The smart watch was slow to take off also untill apple released one, then the smartwatch concept exploded. If I had to guess - and I do have to guess - this is in reference to the possible development of a folding iPhone.
If the folding iPhone sells for $1,999 for 512 GB version. If what were to happen?
I seeIf the folding iPhone sells for $1,999 for 512 GB version.
I just noticed the picture didn't upload for some reason even though it said complete. That explains the confusion
I'll be curious at what Samsung can do in future folds, I think this about the thinnest you would want to go, and screen size really is at optimal size. I'm guessing the tri-fold is Samsung's next big foldable. Maybe the fold we have now will be equivalent to the S series plus model and the tri-fold would be the equivalent to the S series ultra. I myself am not interested in the tri-fold.I see
For your question no I don't think they will because they offer discounts with trade ins and they think they own the Foldable market and now with the thinest Fold on the market![]()
Maybe in the future when there is a stiffer competition and much reduced price., to me if other Foldable are in 1800.00-1900.00 range and Samsung is 2200 they won't drop it.
I don't see them lowering the price I think they are comfortable where they are , look how they took the SPen away as long as they sell is the key point.I'll be curious at what Samsung can do in future folds, I think this about the thinnest you would want to go, and screen size really is at optimal size. I'm still going to hope for price reductions when more competition comes. I just don't see Samsung being higher priced then apple myself. You do have a point on the trade in discounts on Samsung though.
Right, apple releases something when they perfect it.Competition will always determine how each company offers to consumers. I doubt Apple will ever beat Samsung in the trade process. They never have, and I doubt if they ever will.
Apple still tries to make people believe that their products are tailored towards a rich folks mentality, as still is today. I have such an acquaintance who thinks this way.
Imagine they release with the Apple pencilRight, apple releases something when they perfect it.
I think the sales at stores like T-Mobile and even Verizon are lower for sure I know that some with the trade-in values attract people especially I know a lot of people that are using the flip phone for convenience and I have a lot of non-tech people loving the flip then switching to it but overall I think the price more than anything is what holds people back.Interestingly, I spoke to a guy at a T-Mobile store last week and asked him how sales of foldable devices are going. He said that few customers buy them because of concerns about a lack of durability. Granted, that's only one carrier store, but it appears to me that the demand for foldable devices is much higher amongst users of this forum who are tech enthusiasts than amongst the general public.
I assume it will all of a sudden become the best thing since sliced bread. Apple fan boys mock new technology until apple does it, they did it with smart watches, apple released it and now it's great.I have a apple fan boy at work who doesn't think much of foldables.....can't wait to see him change his tune when apple releases one
