The inherent flaws with WP8 is that it has all of the limitations of iOS, but none of the app support to make up for it. It's basically a crippled iOS with a different UI.

In the beginning, Android didn't have the app support of iOS either. But how it differed was the free reign it gave you to your files, and it allowed customization like widgets/rooting/launchers/custom ROMs etc.

WP8 has none of that. It has nothing going for it compared to iOS or Android.

I miss Cortana and the WP predictive text feature. They are far better than "OK Google" and the Android predictive text feature, which is a joke and can't accurately predict crap. But man, they really need to mature a lot before I'd ever consider switching back.

WP will never overtake Android,IOS maybe but not Android.

Microsoft will never open up their sandbox enough to make the needed changes for it to happen. Besides lack of app support their draconian ways of pushing IE and Xbox over better solutions will keep it regulated to a also-ran . It needs a serious overhaul as means to be able to customize every aspect in it as well from their weird dialer to various custom keyboards and full transparencies.

Their predictive text is a joke,and Cortana isn't all that it is supposed to be either,nor is it available to everyone on that platform.Google n
Now has improved tremendously and will continue to evolve,even when it is released into the wild at some point it won't be more than a novelty just as any WP launcher is today.
