I REALLY need this phone! I am rocking an old school nokia flip phone. I need something EPIC to happen!

In all honesty I am heading to my sprint store today to check it out. Still undecided between the Epic and Evo. I want to see how it feels in my pocket with the added thickness.

I would like to upgrade my HTC Hero right about now. I'd hate to depart w/ my phone, but the Epic 4G is worth it!

LTE Can't hurt Sprint. If you have used the 4G service, you know that it's like being plugged into a physical cable line.

The epic is a great looking device, I just wish it was a GSM phone on T-mobile. lol Otherwise I think it will be one of the best android phones with a keyboard.

the epic 4g is definitely the best galaxy s phone yet

im looking to kill my at&t contract and sign with a new carrier and would much rather use the epic 4g than the captivate. just the fact that it is has a physical keyboard and a front facing camera is enough for me to want the epic more than the captivate. the wimax and 3g mobile hotspot are also nice features.

I've been trying to decide if I should stick with Swype on a touchscreen or go back to a real keyboard. Now I can do both! The Epic looks to be the balance of size and features I've been looking for. I can't wait until my contract renewal comes in November.

4G speed is great. Though I'm not interested in the $10 a month extra since I don't live in a 4G speed area.

This is a great phone and the reason why I'm going to abandon ATT. When Amazon was selling the Captivate for $.01, I was very tempted and almost caved. But I kept my faith and am ready to own God's phone.

The main features I'm looking forward to on this phone are:

1) Hardware keyboard
2) Front facing Camera
3) camera flash
4) Froyo before the end of the year
5) Hummingbird

Good luck to everyone :D

I have a Samsung Moment which is great and would like to win the Epic for my son who is away at college. This would be just in time for his birthday.

Just what the doctor ordered!

I have been hip to the Android OS since June 4th, when I pre-ordered the EVO 4G. Every since then, I have been nothing but impressed with how easy and fun it is!!! I am constantly on Android Central seeing what's new and exciting in the world of Android. My wife has Android-envy and the Samsung Epic 4G is just what the doctor ordered!! :D I do a lot of traveling, we would get so much use out of the video chat feature. Plus she loves to have the feel of a QWERTY board....Perfect!!!! Anyway, you guys and Android Central do stellar work! Keep it up!!!

epic

You read that right. We're up to our old shenanigans and will give away one (1) Epic 4G to one (1) lucky poster in the Epic 4G forum. But make it count. Any of that "I'm posting just for the contest" crap will be null and void. And mocked.

Good luck! Contest ends at 5 p.m. EDT Thursday, and we'll announce the winner Thursday night live on the podcast.

My Evo keeps random

My Evo keeps randomly restarting, so if I win an Epic

My Evo keeps randomly restarting, so if I win an Epic I can finally get rid of this old clunky Evo... and give it to my wife.

I want one cause chicks will think im cool....and if not at least I will feel cool....and I'm ok with that.

i jumped on the EVO day 1, my wife got herself an EPIC today, after an hour of playing around with her phone, i am officially jealous!! i need to win one so that I can have a phone as cool as hers!!

Learning curve?

My wife and I are rockin' some seriously outdated dumbphones (just had to Krazy-glue her keys back on) and the Epic looks about perfect. I get all the features I've been drooling over and she finally gets the "iPhone" she think she wants without having to defect to AT&T.

As an Android noob, the walkthroughs on Android Central and other blogs make the UI look fairly easy to get learn, the TouchWiz3 looks like it actually might be handy in our case, and it sounds as though Sprint didn't go too crazy with the bloatware. The transition to a phone from this century looks like it could be a lot of fun. Anything I'm missing? Any steps one needs to take before jumping on board Android to make the transition easier?

I have been living in the ages of dinosaurs when it comes to phones. My husband recently got the Hero and I'm absolutely in love with it. I would love to get one but that won't happen any time soon bc I'm not eligible for an upgrade for another year and a half. Winning this phone would be amazing for me and my family. I'd love all the advantages the 4g offers. I would just love to get internet on my phone. Right now I can talk and text...YAY me!!! Anyway, thanks for having this contest.

hope, faith, love

God bless you all, I have an evo and I'm not a nerd or geek but I love Android I don't know about cyannogen or custom rooms but really enjoy what my phone does, my gf has a pre but she got 2 replacements already and something else is not working, she has 2kids and not a lotta money for a new device and neither do I but god is everything. Me just went to a men's retreat and it was the best experience of my life :)
