Win a free Epic 4G!

I would have been in line at my local Sprint store except that I had to take a cat to the vet, and Sprint switched my account so that my wife's phone shows as the primary, and it won't be switched back until the 5th. So, given that kind of day, I am in serious need of some awesome. :)

Thanks!

Yea This device looks freakin awesome. I have been using my cdma hero since day one of its release, that is when i fell in love with the little green android.
Then I hacked the device and went head over heels. I just wish the hero was a little more powerful. I would love to get my hands on something as epic as the EPIC, root it, and show everyone how badass this device is.

I have been an advocate of Android for too long to not have one of the phones yet.
Currently I have a Touch Pro 2 that I can boot in to a 75% functional version of Android and am craving a new phone more than ever. I might have to switch from Verizon to Sprint if I win!

Really Need the Epic 4G

Due for an upgrade 09/01/10, so can't get one today at the store or online. I tried but because of the one day difference, Sprint says there is nothing they can do. Please help!

Wow, I seriously can't wait to try out that keyboard. I've been waiting for an Andriod like this for a freakin long time!

Have an EVO, wife wants an Epic!

I bought my wife a Samsung Moment last Christmas, she loves it, and returned the favor by getting me an Evo for my birthday. Now she is drooling over the Epic, and is already counting the days before she can get one at a reduced price... Unfortunately, that is 1 year and 3 months away...:p

Finally a phone on sprint better than the evo with a more reasonable screen. Better in every way. Better screen, better SOC, physical keyboard and swype, and a better camera. 8 mp on the evo is only a numbers game. The epic has a larger surface area per pixel so it has better sensitivity to light, hence better low light pictures and better colors and faster iso's and less noise. Samsung has done a great job on their galaxy s line up and has one upped everyone with this phone. Now if I can only convince my peers who have all been brainwashed into thinking the evo is better. It is a daily struggle.

pickmepickmepickme

I'm one of those SERO holdouts with a very long-in-the-tooth Centro. Right now I'm thinking my next phone will be between the Epic and the next phone by HPalm. Also hoping that the rumored $10+$10 upgrade to Android/Webos for my $30 SERO plan on October 1st is true.

I hope I'm not going to regret buying an Evo instead of waiting for the Epic. I moved from an HTC Touch Pro and I miss having a real keyboard. Any impressions from those that have used both?

Mark

I would love to win

I certainly would love to win this phone. I have been using a BlackBerry for a long time, and always wanted to have an Android phone as my main phone. The Epic 4G would be the perfect phone for me since it has a physical keyboard and larger screen.

Good luck to everyone. ;)

Holy crap i'd do anything to get this device! Played with one before it was released and it is mom worthy! My poor HTC Hero is getting on it's last limbs, and i'm hoping I can put it to rest... In a good way :)

why i should

If I win I will def switch to sprint. Currently I'm with tmobile and waiting for a great phone besddes the vibrant, because I want ffc, and I am using the mid-range mytouch slide.I was going to buy a nexus one on april, so I disconnected one line(200$ fee) so I could add another account I waited 3 weeks for google's servers to go through but it didn't work afterwards I ended not getting it and was stuck which the motorola cliq xt(which lags, and is still on android 1.5/1.6) which motorola plans to upgrade to android 2.1 in late Q3/ early Q4. Hope I win! Go android central u rock!!!!! :D

Does anyone know how Sprint keeps getting these sweet-@$$ Android devices??? First the Evo, now the Epic. The lack of front-facing camera and led flash on the Vibrant makes me really disappointed in T-Mobile, seeing as how they were the first carrier with the cahones big enough to bring Android into the spotlight. First time the thought of switching carriers has even crossed my mind. Epic fail on T-Mobile's part, pardon the pun =)

Pick me! Pick me!

I currently have the HC Hero for Sprint which is OK, but it is nothing compared to the EPIC 4G I would love to win with its awesome super AMOLED screen, blazin fast processor, and slide out keyboard.

And not to mention the fact that I wouldn't mind gettin me some Froyo(not happenning on my HERO)

In closing.................PICK ME!!!!!!!!:D

Psst.... Hey... Psst.... Pick me for the Epic 4G.... I won't tell anyone, it'll be our secret!

Every since Android was announced, I have searched to find a web site to keep me updated on the latest Android news. Found it months ago!! Epic, the phone phone how I like to have one. Android Central, keep up the good work guys!!

Ok, here's the deal. My wife has a Samsung Moment, and she dropped it in the bathwater as she was getting a pedicure. Funny right? Well, I have Best Buy's black tie warranty. I took it in and they told me it wouldn't be covered because it was fully submerged, but said they would try anyways. Long story short, I was able to completely dismantle the phone and dry everything. I put it back together and sent it in for service. I just received word over the weekend that they would be replacing the phone. Whoo Hooo!

Now ... what do you think the odds are that I can get them to allow me to get the Epic 4G as a replacement ... I will pay the difference between the phones ... but not to retail. If it is going for $249.99 and the moment is going for $99.99 ... is it reasonable for me to ask for the upgrade and pay the difference?
