Win a free Epic 4G!

I think this phone is going to be amazing but I'm not sure about getting it. I have a friend that works for Sprint and he said that because it has the slide out keyboard it makes the phone kind of flimsy, therefore not making it a solid phone like the Evo. I love slide out keyboards though so I'm tossed on whether to get it or not. I sure would like to win this contest so I can get the phone without having to fork out the CHEDAR for it!

As much as I love virtual keyboards, I suck at using them so wouldn't ming a little Epic action to cure this. Only part of my Pre that I miss is the keyboard.

i honestly don't need an epic since i'm very happy with the evo, but if i win, i'd give it to my friend who is on sprint. he's using the pre right now and wants to join the android community badly but can't really afford one right now since he has a baby girl now. she's 1 and obviously supporting a wife and baby while still going to school is a stuggle.

My daughter has a Samsung Instinct.....for 2 years now. She just turned 21 and lives 1300 miles from me. Her belated gift could be an Epic 4g..to go will all the school stuff that I sent her.
Thanks for the consideration..

hoping to win the Epic 4G

I'd really love to be able to give this to the Mrs for a early Christmas Present.

1) Its a fast and powerful Android phone unlike her aging Droid Eris

2) Verizons coverage at our house is really bad so switching carriers is looking more likely.

3) Front camera and skype to video conference with the Grand Parents back home in New Zealand.

With my work schedule, I don't get to spend a lot of time at home. We have four kids and I want to see them grow. (Insert awwwwwwww here). In all seriousness, we will buy two of these anyway, but it would be nice to only have to buy one as we aren't eligible for an upgrade till March 2011. :)

Congrats to whomever wins. It is an honor to be a part of such wonderful boards.

Sprint has been stepping up the game lately releasing two great phones, the Evo and now the Epic. hopefully they continue to lead in the hardware category.

My GF Will Have A Better Phone Than Me

Please pick me so I can have a brand new phone and I use my EVO as a back up when I feel like switching or I can give my EVO to my brother.

I feel like a loser since my GF is getting a newer phone than me :(:(

Help me out Phil

Would be a great update phone for my dad. He can use it with my mom in the nursing home over an hour away to call my EVO and have the grandkids see their grandmother more.

Give this Pre user a reason to switch!

Sprint Pre user that has been itching to get an Android but have waited faithfully for HP/Palm to come out with better hardware... but if I WIN a Samsung Epic... well... then it was GIVEN to me... I couldn't POSSIBLY TURN IT DOWN THEN!

I would be MORALLY COMMITTED to using it and bragging about it, though still remaining faithful to Palm... somewhat. :-)

I've been _so_ excited about this -- was very sad and frustrated to turn away from the beautiful Touch Pro2 keyboard to come to Android and have been craving a great Android QWERTY phone ever since. I couldn't justify actually _buying_ one of these because I travel abroad too much to give up the world-phone capability of my Nexus One. But if I got one for free, I'd be _thrilled_ to use it as my stateside phone and just keep the Nexus for overseas. Thrilled.

I am glad to see Sprint is not falling behind, as a matter of fact they are the only ones with a front facing camera (of the Galaxy S models). I wonder if QIK will be installed too in order to communicate with EVOs?

I think the Epic will be the first phone I have seriously considered replacing my Nexus One. Would love to see some Froyo goodness on this phone.

I am NOT just posting this for the contest! :p

Seriously, it's neat that Samsung has released such great Android phones across all the US based mobile operators.

This should be a great phone.

hey guys, i was told there was punch and pie. anyone know where they put the punch and pie?

oh, and about this samsung phone. i understand it has a keyboard. you know -- for typing and what not. i do some typing and figured it would be kinda neat to use. well, i'll see you cool cats later.

Switch from a blackberry to android? I'm so ready for it! Still running that ancient 8330. It'd be nice to have a touch screen phone WITH a keyboard :p. Also that gorgeous AMOLED will keep my eyes from wandering elsewhere...
