My phone? Well, it used to be great. The myTouch 3g. Yup, not that old, and not too shabby. Except the feature to download from the android market has broken. I can get to the market so it can tease me ... but I cannot download and there is no fix. To make matters worse, I did a factory reset thinking it would fix my problems. It didn't. Oops. Now stuck with stock android with no option to add apps. Tell me, what good is an android phone (and a data plan for that matter) that can not download apps? It's like buying a bike without pedals.

What wouldn't I do with the HTC Droid Incredible? I'd start with being able to make a phone call without my phone shutting down on its own. I could check my email, update our baseball team's website as it's happening. I wouldn't get the error messages my blackberry gives about unable to download everything! I could take photo's with an 8 megapixel camera and video then instantly share with the world. Multi-tasking with 7 pages sounds impressive. I would not get lost in this big, crazy world with the google maps. A battery that wouldn't run half way down after talking for 16 minutes...I would be dreaming to have a device that could go hand-in-hand with me through my everyday moments in life. I call it "Techie Art" because it is a rather sleek and sexy looking unit. From the sounds of it, it behaves as great as it looks. Sure, I'd love to own this marvel as so many others would. Alas, I hope I get picked...if not, the person who does get the honor of winning this contest better take care of this beautiful beast!

I'm actually posting to try and win this phone for my wife. She is stuck with a hand-me-down Envy2 that has so many issues, random shut off, not ringing for an incoming call, things like that. She also desperately needs to make the jump to a smartphone so she can really experience what it's like to want to keep your phone by you at all times because you use it so much. If I can't win an incredible for her, she have to settle for a Droid Eris for financial reasons, which is still a good option but already old and at end-of-life. She is actually using my upgrade to get a better phone. I have been wanting an Android phone for a long time to replace my POS BB Storm1, but I thought she deserved a better phone more than I do right now. Please let me give my wonderful wife and mother of my beautiful baby boy an HTC DROID Incredible on launch day. *crosses fingers*

I am so sorry for my old mytouch 3g - Ruby (it's her name) - because I dropped her so many times...
she was an amazing phone, I loved every part of her, but because of my carelessness, I dropped her several times, now she isn't functioning well...
So I regret my past, and I want to be nice to this new Droid Incredible.
I promise I will never drop this phone, and I promise i will leave T mobile for this new phone.

I will remember you, Ruby, and I am so sorry for my carelessness... :'(

Yes, it's the brick. Seemingly indestructible - have had it for 6 or 7 years.

Why I'm using it? My old T-Mobile Shadow broke (had to replace the original I had when signed my contract) twice - slider spring broke, and so, every time, I had to go back to this little brick to save my life. I've been waiting for my contract to be over, and hoping to get a new one with VZ, and man does the Incredible make my salivary glands go into overdrive!

A picture is worth a thousand words. This Motorola will be hard to give up. It (pretty-much) fits in a backpack, has a seven-digit LED display, keeps me warm when I use it, and it IS a '96 Atlanta Olympics Special Edition, after all.

LG Dare is my current phone. Thought it would be that "big iphone competitor" like they made it seem. Never released any big updates and it's stuck with the crappy verizon OS on it. Looking forward to getting my first smartphone. It's looking to be the incredible now that after an enormous long wait they cancelled the verizon nexus one...

I would be totally lying if I said my current phone is sorry. I couldn't wait with all of the switches and changes surrounding the android system/Google/nexus one/Verizon and the list goes on, that I broke down and got a Droid Eris. Now let's not get crazy here this is no Incredible by any stretch of the imagination, but it's definitely one of the better phones I have ever owned. Oh to have an incredible though, humhumhum. Just consider me. Thanks.

I'm currently using a three yr old blackberry curve that is slowly dying. The phone completely freezes and needs a hard reboot if I open the appworld, won't upload pics to facebook, takes upwards of 10 minutes to send a picture message if it sends it at all, and lately has started lagging when i go through to mark messages open/delete. A new phone would be much appreciated.

I have a Samsung Eternity that has far surpassed it's useful life expectency and is ready to be retired. My AT&T contract ends on, get this...April 28th! I think it is a sign that I am ready for an Incredible new phone.
