Need to get my wife a new phone soon; her Nexus 5 is getting a bit old. And would be nice to save a few bucks as we are spending a bunch of money on our little boy.

I moved away from Samsung after the Note 3 due to being underwhelmed by their flagships compared to the competition from Sony/Google (6P), But I have to say the S7 is shaping up nicely and it looks as sleek as the S6 but with the supposed much bigger battery, is it enough to give my Z3 a run for its money? The specs certainly point to that direction and I'm anxious to find out if I win!

I think it will be Gold, Silver and Blue. I'm interested in seeing how the camera performs. This has always been the high point for Samsung devices, along with their screens.

I've been an Android user since G1. However, none of the android phones last more than a year for me. Tried G1, HTC Hero, Samsung S3, and Moto X Dev edition (2013). The phones kept getting slower, reboot randomly, and the cellular function malfunctions after about a year (dropped calls, doesn't pick up signals, etc.). So, I wanted to switch over to an iPhone, but stopped short of buying it because of cost and serviceability reasons. Also I have too much data that I cannot move it to an iPhone easily.

I see that Samsung has been improving their phones steadily since S3. I've been reading the reviews for S6, S6 Edge, and their Note series for some time now. I've also been following up on the S7 rumors. From everything that I've read, Samsung S7 is the best phone and amongst all the android phone manufacturers Samsung is the most committed and complete (end-to-end manufacturing).

Samsung S7 is my next phone! Their Samsung Gear S2 has also very impressive. I may even buy one to go along with the S7.

How wouldn't I use it?

It's my alarm clock in the morning, and a timer when I'm roasting coffee (Timely). It's my news feed (Flipboard) while I'm drinking my freshly roasted coffee, and my navigation (Google Maps) while on my way to a new customer location. It helps me get in shape, (Map My Walk, Map My Ride, My Fitness Pal, & Fitbit) and streams my favorite music or talk radio while working, playing or exercising (Tunein, Spotify, iHeart, OnePlace, etc...) It's my live "view" of baseball games while I'm at work (At Bat) and displays my tickets at the ballpark. It's my light in the dark (Flashlight) and when it's un-naturally dark, I turn to my weather apps (1Weather, PYKL3 Radar). It's my calendar, my email, and my texting device, which keeps me productive, and a few simple games (Threes, Pocket Tanks) to unwind with. It's almost all that I need it to do.

Unfortunately, my current phone falls really short in the camera department so I'm unable to capture all of those great moments I'd like to, and that's why I'l love to win the upcoming Galaxy S7.

Well, as someone who doesn't have a smart phone yet (I know, i know, sheesh), I would use this phone as a way to both modernize myself and also my teaching (since I am a teacher).

I would really like try out the Edge version of this device! I think they may have hit a sweet spot with the size as well. I really hope the camera is as good as they say because I want to use the camera to shoot a full length film about my two dogs and the adventures they go on. I then want to blog about my sarcasm on all the AC forums!
