My daughter has patiently waited for the release of the new phone to finally move up from her 2014 Moto X. I have been impressed how long she has struggled and never complained.

Chronologically listed reasons I need this.
GF dropped her S5 for the 100th and final time and it gave up. She moved on to her old busted S3.
I dropped my 2015 Moto X ONCE, a month ago. It slid off the seat of my bike. Screen, completely black.
A while back I was in an emergency and had to buy a T-Mobile Coolpad phone for $30-40 new. It is now the emergency backup phone.
GF says she will use the Coolpad and I can have the S3 since she "doesn't give an f about phones."
Her sim won't work. She get's the S3 back. I am now stuck with the Coolpad.
I quit my job in May to focus on school. I do not live with my parents. Self sufficient. Graduated in December and am now looking for a job. I can't validate spending the money on a phone without having a job and limited savings.

So I look to you Android Central. Please, help me learn to be less self sufficient. To depend and rely on the good will and charity of others. The torture of this Coolpad is almost too much to endure! Save me!

TL;DR
Moto X 2015 inop. Using a T-mobile Coolpad that's price is reflective of it's value at $30-$40 new. The struggle is real.
