Wirefly Pre-orders

Sorry to say, but I'm thinking If I can find the phone somewhere on saturday for $150 or less, I'll get it and cancel my Wirefly preorder. Yea, it's not their fault, buuuut I have been waiting for 2 weeks, paid for an early upgrade (had my OG Evo for 20 Months, that's the longest I've ever had a phone!). I want my new toy!!
 
Well, I just bit the bullet and cancelled my pre-order, after pre-ordering in-store at Best Buy. Unfortunately, I'm not one of the lucky ones that got the phone right away. The salesperson said he wasn't sure when my pre-order would be fulfilled & that there were other pre-orders before mine, but he did say "probably after June 2nd."

Cancelling the wirefly order at this point is still a gamble, but it makes a little more sense for me. I only got $50 off on Wirefly, not the $80 that a lot got, and Best Buy's $50 gift card deal is still going, so I don't lose any money on the switch. Plus I wasn't going to be able to be home whenever it shipped, so it'd probably add another day to shipping, and then they would have to leave it at my house, which is a little risky where I live.
 
Yay delivery estimates !!

With all these people claiming to cancel their pre-orders from WF maybe I can get mine early next weeeeeeeeeeeeek

Good news! I just got off the phone with Sprint management and the stories are true.... Evo's have been released! Our first shipment of Evo's are being shipped to our distribution center no later than tomorrow. We have asked for overnight delivery which means if we get them on Saturday we will unpack and then ship out the same day. The other good news is we've been told we will receive a second shipment of Evo's by the end of next week. Trust me when I say we are doing everything we can to get these shipped to you as soon as possible.

Now here is the bad news, because of the time of day, we are not able to update our teams within our customer service groups so they do not have this latest info. Until tomorrow morning they might continue to say they don't have updated info. This is true, I'm actually home (it's almost 9:00 p.m.) and I'm sending this to you before I've updated our own team.

Thanks for hanging in there with us, I'm tired and shutting down for the night.

I was extremely upset with Wirefly because of the lack of communication, but now I feel like they have made up for it over the last week. I am glad I did not cancel my order and having to wait a little while longer is no big deal. For those of you still hanging in there, the wait is almost over.

Let's just hope the first shipment contains a significant amount of phones and not just a handful. The mention of the "second shipment" seems to imply the first shipment won't cover all their orders.

Well I stopped by Best Buy and preorderd two in the store. Got the 50 dollar GC deal and traded in an old Evo. I havent cancelled my Wirefly order yet and won't until Best Buy tells me to pick it up (sales rep said most likely saturday), so pretty much who ever gets me the phone first will get my hard earned cash.

Just to clarify, I can assure you, FedEx DOES NOT deliver from Wirefly on Saturdays. I am sorry for any confusion our representatives have caused, and I assure you we will review this with them and coach them on it. Let me know if there is something I can do to be of assistance to you. :)

So, which is it?
