yup, like i said earlier, i don't see anyone from amazon coming here to give us any update on their shipment status.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share this message from our CEO with you all. Please let me know if you have any questions. We sincerely apologize for the delay you have experienced.

First, let me say that I am very sorry for the inconvenience that Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE preorder customers have experienced through Wirefly. Although the situation was completely unexpected and out of our control, this is certainly not the sort of customer experience we endeavor to provide.

Each time we consider running a preorder for a device, we carefully weigh the information we have available to us and make a decision to support the preorder or not based on whether the customer experience will be a positive one. I can assure you that had we known the inventory challenges this device would experience, we would have chosen not to offer a preorder.

At this point, you probably know that inventory for the HTC EVO 4G LTE is severely constrained nationwide. It is our understanding that US Customs officials only released a fraction of the devices last week and that entire first shipment was just released (see article for additional information). We are in constant contact with Sprint and will send preorder customers an email with the latest information as soon as we can.

In the meantime, we appreciate your patience. We think that we offer great value and a positive customer experience. This situation doesn?t sit well with us at all. In addition to your Wirefly Preorder Price Guarantee that guarantees you?ll pay our lowest price for up to 30 days after the device officially launches, we are also upgrading your shipping to Next Business Day at no additional charge. I received an email of the same announcement from the Wirefly post above, I'm glad they are upgrading the shipping when it is available to send. That was a nice touch and not expected since it was not Wirefly's fault there was a delay.

I guess more waiting for us. Lets hope we can hear back from them before the end of the week.

I got to figure since we got the ceo letter. I wouldnt plan on seeing it for a while IMO. Im not mad at wiredfly. Im pissed at sprint, I paid $165 to upgrade early and I got nothing.

Rep is legit, I just received an email update from Wirefly containing the same "note from CEO" as above. Thank you, Wirefly! At least it's something, and it helps while we wait for a shipping date. :)

I just received that same email as well but it really doesn't change anything. Sprint and HTC dropped the ball big time on this one. I will use them again when the S3 & Note are released for Tmo.

...right. And it looks like you're apparently another one of the conspiracy theorists that think Sprint and HTC knew this was coming months ahead of time and chose to ignore it?

A conspiracy was not in my mind when i canceled my order. I find it hard to believe that a huge corporations such as HTC & Sprint with their teams of lawyers did not have any idea that something like this might occur... Your assumptions are funny, your the first human who can read minds.

Cancelled my wirefly order. Picking up phone at bb right now. Got the pickup email only 50 minutes after preordering.

Had problems with the pickup last night, got a call this morning to activate. Been re-installing my apps this afternoon

$140 out the door ($110 for phone, $30 for Zagg Shield).

I called Wirefly, they said to keep the free bluetooth! lol

The phone is amazing, I hope everyone gets their's soon! The screen looks like it's from the future. : O

I ordered 2. One for me and one for my Dad and we're taking a family trip out of the country on friday :'(
 
yeah, so i am guessing we'll get the phone prob next monday or tuesday. pretty unlikely to recieve it by tomorrow.
