Would you buy your Nexus again?

Unfortunately no.. regardless of what you might read in this forum, the truth is if you are on 4G all day by 5pm your phone is dead. I need a phone that will last all day and the GNEX is not it..

I am on LTE all day, and my battery lasts into the evening.

Your experience is not the same as everyone else's. That's the truth.

Yes, I would. My only complaint is the battery life. And that's with 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS turned off. Does anyone know of an extended battery which will work with the stock battery door?

The Samsung 2100 mAh battery will allow the stock cover to fit. But it comes with a cover that hardly adds any thickness and is easier to snap on. It's 25 bucks at VZW.

As it is, NO I would not buy this again. if they fixed
Battery Life, connectivity issues, then yes, I'm going to sell this and get the SIII now...

No way used mostly wifi and 3g :eek:and was charging 2 to 3 times a day with the extended battery also had the rebooting and poor signal with 3g and 4g call static. Traded for RAZR Maxx what an improvement not 1 problem yet and battery life is just amazing after 24 hours I have 40% with heavy use. Should be getting ICS soon.

NOOOO. I cant make a phone call on my PHONE. Cant get a text message unless i stand one leg with aluminum foil on my hand. This is my second Samsung phone that doesn't work as advertised.

Wow! Where were all you nay-sayers during the first week of this thread?!

Hmm... I had just gotten up the guts to buy a Gnex and now you tell me?? ;)

As of the time I bought my Nexus this is still the phone I would buy again. But since then the Maxx has been released and I would probably lean the direction due to battery life. And with S3 announced that would be my preference now, and actually the phone I've pre ordered for my wife.

Nope. Only reason I went with nexus is because IPhone didn't have a screen size comparable to nexus. After owning a nexus and an iPhone I could feel and see the head above shoulders quality of the iPhone. Open source? Not locked down? Blah, blah, blah. IPhone is far superior in all aspects. Now the Nexus I will say fit the bill but not blown away, its just like any other Droid device with lag. It was kind of like having in and out burger for the first time when first purchasing the iphone. Wow :p

I'd buy mine again, though of course the allure of the SGSIII is now evident. Still, there's a great developer community for the Gnex, and even though I swore I'd never root, I finally did and I couldn't be happier.

There's so many things you can adjust/tweak to your needs that it makes you wonder why Google didn't give you the option in the first place. Screen rotation? Adjustable. Powerbar/toggles in the status bar? Yep. Option to hide soft keys and status bar? Sure. These are just cosmetic, of course, and the CPU and Kernel stuff is just a nice way to adjust performance control for power use AT WILL.

Yeah, I'd buy it again. ;-)

Yeah, that's why the Razr Maxx outsells the iPhone at VZW:

Apple: William Blair Unfazed as iPhone Slips at Verizon - Tech Trader Daily - Barrons.com

The GNex is third, right behind the iPhone. I see the iPhone being pushed further down once the SGIII is released.

Yup, in a heartbeat I'd buy my Nexus again! Plan to keep it for a good long time (along with my unlimited data plan, as long as it exists).

There will always be greener pastures, the latest & greatest, blah, blah, blah. If the latest & greatest weren't hyped in a huge way, people wouldn't be so fast to make the jump. It's AFTER the jump that the complaints start rolling in on the forums.

Ya gotta go with what works best for you, cell coverage in your area, etc. If it doesn't work for you, choose something else. You never know till you try; if it doesn't work the way you want out of the box, try something else.

Kinda sad when people think more sells = better quality.

I personally hate the iPhone and Apple products. I have never owned one and never will, but I have used the iPhone and I will say it works a lot better than my Nexus has. Also, the Nexus feels like a cheaply made toy compare to the new iphone. Apple loves to say Samsung is copying them, I personally wish Samsung would copy Apple's build quality and materials. The use of cheap plastic on everything Samsung makes has gotten old.

Yeah but that's exactly what Apple does in each any every one of its pie charts, graphs, etc.; they quote sales figures, which make sense on one level, but on other levels it is highly inadequate.

At this point, NO. I like so many things about this phone and never had a signal problem but lets get to the negatives.
1) Lets face it, even with the extended battery you can't go anywhere without a charger if your a heavy user.
2) The mic cutout is a real problem for some of us. I don't talk for a long time often but when I wait for 10 minutes on hold only to get cut off by the mic only to repeat again, its bad.
3) My biggest beef is the lack of a car dock and finally getting a $100 desk charger dock after six months. These are the two items I use every day. I fear that I will get into a wreak looking down at my phone during navigation or changing music or podcasts.
I am starting to hang out in rumored devices again. sigh

I may not necessarily buy this phone all over again, but there's no way, I'd have bought the Rezound or Maxx if I had to do it over again.
