Xoom LTE soak test on the way

I just recently sent my xoom in for the 4G upgrade. I put a post it on my xoom saying "please update to 4.0.3 thanks" haha. They should be shipping it back to me tomorrow. I'm not expecting ICS but how cool would that be? Haha
Did you get your Xoom back yet?
its eerie quiet on anything being updated. has the wifi finish? are all the wifi xooms updated? just been to quiet. but i can wait though. no i wont root. not ready to root this, my thunderbolt is.
I am already tired of waiting on Motorola to update the LTE Xoom.

After the 4G LTE upgrade fiasco perpetrated by Motorola I really have expectations for them to provide much support to the original Xoom.

You won't see an update till vzw test it. Hell vzw may be adding there mydata and backup assistance to the build so that could b the hold up. And do remember the usa wifi xoom was a google expierence device sorta like a nexus. So it makes since that it got ics first. The rest of the motorola line has to be tested by there carriers and or motorola. If u think I'm of my rocking ask this why was the european xooms have sd card support and usa xoom didn't because like the asus and other tablets motorola added the hack.

Just got the email that they shipped it back to me. Scheduled to be delivered by 3pm tomorrow.
Both XOOMs, LTE and WiFi, are GEDs. The fact that a build needs to be tested with the LTE radio before it's released does not mean it's not a GED.
No skin = GED. It's a licensing agreement Google makes available to manufacturers when they need a development platform.
The idea that there can't be one single extra app on a GED device is ridiculous and a fabrication of the web community, not Google.

It was to be expected, But that didn't stop me from sticking a note in mine when i went it back.... I still have not received it back yet, i'm going through withdrawal!

I got sick of waiting and realized I'd most likely go custom ROM anyway. Unlocked/rooted/Installed Team EOS yesterday. It was way easier than I thought it would be. All I can say is wow. Overlooked to 1.4GHz and this thing is flying! I actually had more app crashes in honeycomb. Best move I've made. Screw waiting for Verizon.
