It might have something to do with the 233 people CURRENTLY downloading that file from my account. I pay for 500gb of bandwidth a month. In the past 1.5 days you guys have used 230gb of band width. This month better hurry up and end or it will be only the 2nd time I hit my limit.
:D

Installed no problems so far. Not rooted. Had to hold down power/volume up/home button to do it instead of just power/volume up.

In recovery mode, when i select "apply update from external storage" i get the following error...
E:failed to mount /sdcard (invalid argument)

It's a 64 gb SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC Class 6

Any ideas?

Your card is most likely formated with exfat file system. It must be formatted with fat32 file system to be read by recovery.

How do i switch it? I don't recall formatting it, just buying it and putting it in the phone... shrug... Might have used the "Format SD card" option in the phone menu but wont swear to it...

64gb cards come preformatted to with exfat file system. to convert to fat32 you will need to put it in a card reader and from your computer reformat your card. Yes this will delete everything off your card so back it up on your computer first. EaseUSPartitionMaster formats your card very nicely. Download the free version and install it on your computer.

Download Partition Master here.

Is there anyway to tell on our phones what format our SD cards are running on??

About the only way I can think of is by going into recovery and seeing if it can see the update zip file on your external card. If you can see the file you should be fine. if not you will need to format.

Thanks #2 worked great!

I downloaded the link from post #2 and when i hold the power, vol down, home button. I get a yellow triangle telling me how a custom operating can harm my phone and i should press vol down to reboot or vol up to install. I've done a lot of installs using .zip files and have never seen this message before.
