Thanks for all your words of encouragement. It is interesting, because my wife sometimes says, especially when she hears excuses of robbers or murderers, "why didn't you turn out the way they did. You sure have every reason to." Is simple - choices. Lemons - lemonade.

I agree completely.
When people use the excuse of bad parents, no patents, etc etc... I always think; Well they can use that experience as a catalyst to be the positive opposite of what bad people their parents were. I can speak from experience, my father abandoned us when i was twelve... I think it mentally made me a much stronger person. It never crossed my mind to go shoplifting, start smoking crack or to kill people.

It's all about willpower.
