ZooGue portfolio case for the xoom

I received my ZooGue case a couple of days ago.

• I like how sturdy the stand is
• I don't care for the strap
• I am not a fan of the Velcro looks, but the functionality requires it
• I also will have the PDair Xoom Book Style V2 case next week and I will compare the two. I will be returning one of them.

I just got my case yesterday. Very useable but not a perfect fit. The top and bottom are not flush right in the middle of the xoom which is kind of annoying. Maybe it will stretch out in time.

One thing I am unhappy about is the left and right sides of the xoom are covered and spill over unto the screen. Therefore, if you're using the quick launch controls in the stock browser, you can't access it very well.

It's useable for the time being until something better comes along.

I would return the one you have. There is no way it is suppose to spill out onto the screen and mine does not come close to doing so.

I'm looking forward to a review of your experience with this case and also the seller. The website seems a little shoddy and there's only 2 mixed reviews on reseller ratings.
That case looks awesome though - a bit on the pricey side - however, if its as good as the pictures, it may be worth it.

I also heard about the company. They sell a lot of cases worldwide. I paid via PayPal on the 28th of March. I emailed them on the 7th to ask when it was going to ship. They emailed me back on the 8th with a tracking number. It ships from Hong Kong. It will make it to California in 3 to 5 business days. The company is from Australia. I al looking forward to the case.

Not really. I like the material it is made up and it definitely doesn't feel cheap to me. However, I am not crazy about the plastic section that covers the back section of the xoom (camera and speakers); that section I guess you can say looks cheap. Other than that everything fits and works just right. But, to be honest the zoogue looks like it is more functional and a better overall product. But since I got this case for about $17 I am very happy. I wouldn't complain if I got it for $40 either.

Gotta be kidding. The Moto case is cheap, ill-fitting plastic junk. My Zoogue is better, but still a bit cheesy (cheap leather, silly strap that isn't removable w/o cutting it off). The velcro works well - better than I expected.

That said, will probably get the Pdair even though it is absurdly over priced.

Wow, ordered the case 2 days ago and just got notification that it shipped. So much for 2 weeks to ship.

Amazing how one person Loves the Moto case and another not so much. I have the Moto case on all of my XOOM's and like it almost as much as I like the Original Ipad case. Waiting for a flight this morning a fellow passenger had a piece of furniture wrapped around his Ipad 1 (furniture = case that double's the size of original item). At first I thought he had an OLD school slate Tablet PC it was so large and bulky.

Amazing how one person Loves the Moto case and another not so much. I have the Moto case on all of my XOOM's and like it almost as much as I like the Original Ipad case. Waiting for a flight this morning a fellow passenger had a piece of furniture wrapped around his Ipad 1 (furniture = case that double's the size of original item). At first I thought he had an OLD school slate Tablet PC it was so large and bulky.

It's all about preference. I love the Motorola case. Ive had it since day one. That case looks to busy, plus a flaw with velcro is that it eventually gets weak and loses its grip over time.

+1. Love the Moto case. Holds the Xoom nice and tight, snaps securely when closed and has a fairly slim profile. I took it off last night for the first time since buying it to check for wear marks scuffs, etc...none to be found.

Does the ZooGoo case genius allow you to use the Motorola Standard Dock ( drop in charger), or is the case too thick to allow for this?

No the dock will not work with the case. But all ports are accessible and I have put the dock away and just charged it in the case ever day since I received my ZooGue case.

I'm happy to hear your happy with your case. However at this time we have no plans on brining the portrait accessory to the Xoom

The case looks nice, but why do all the Xoom cases have to be so bulky. Give me a nice clip in style case like the stock Motorola, with thinner plastic and maybe a nice leather or synthetic overlay with a thin front cover that seels with a magnetic edge to the clip in part of the case. Keep an open edge for the dock connectors and maybe make the screen cover part foldable to prop the device up similarly to some iPad cases. A big key for me though is the front cover folding flush against the back when I am using it since the way the Motorola folds is horrible.

Wow, that's a nice case. I wish I had read this thread earlier. I'm getting one for both my Ipad 2 and, Xoom, it's too bad (for me) that the Xoom one is sold out and, I'll have to wait six weeks.
