All media gone! Help!

Ok, so, i go into my gallery to view pictures/videos, and everything is gone. Same with music i've downloaded. What gives?

Everything is on my SD, but i cant move it back to gallery and music player!

Any advise is much appreciated!

May be a silly question, but is your SD card mounted? Go to Menu>Settings>SD card & phone storage to check

If it wasn't mounted the gallery would tell him there's no SD card present I believe.

Sadly I've had this happen to a couple of customers. Your card may have crashed. If your computer can still read it I would say copy everything off of the card, then format, and replace the content and see if that helps.

Its definitely mounted... unmounted it and replaced it. everythings on the card but nothing is showing up in media player or gallery. crazy. thank you!

The cards are formated in FAT. It isn't a real robust format.
I trashed mine by plugging it into my PC and mounting it. Then I copied a lot of music and videos to it. Then unplugged the phone without unmounting from the PC first. Things got real goofy at that point until I reformated it.
