4.04 update.. gmail refuses to send emails.

Random sent emails stall in outbox with 'sending' status. Reset Gmail app back to factory. Random no connection warning in Gmail app when phone has solid 4g connection. Beyond frustrated.

Uninstall and reinstall the app. Then go to accounts and make sure it's syncing properly.

Tried this.. you can uninstall the updates, but not the application itself. Going back to the stock app results in it updating a few min later. Is there an alternate 3rd party app?

You can setup the stock email client to use Gmail, but you're better off using the Gmail app. If it comes down to it, use the GMail mobile web interface.

You also try removing your GMail account all together, and adding it again.

That as well. Try unsyncing then resyncing your Google account.

clear cache and clear data in the app under settings /apps/gmail/

Then force stop and then re open gmail.
