Swype on BACKside

Can somebody tell me how to get Swype back on the BACKside ROM? I really miss having Swype, probably the only thing I miss from Froyo.

Do a Google search for Swype beta. Sign up, download and enjoy. It's much better than the stock version on froyo.

since LG/VM aren't updating our phones, that includes Swype, and Swpye has made it pretty clear that they frown upon including the files with new ROMs. However I've got the Swype beta running on mine (running Froyo, but I deleted the stock Swype)

It'll also update itself.

The beta is at 3.26 I believe right now? but the one that was on stock froyo, was like 2.78 or something.

if only there was a free way to get back better keyboard

The new Swype is really much better - just factory reset my wife's OV to sell (she just got the HTC WF S, not sure that was an upgrade, but whatever!) and played with the stock swype and it's relatively terrible

I use swype restore to get back my froyo swype onto backside but I would love to trya new version of my favorite keyboard!

Go to xda forums on the themes section. A developer there has themed Swype with many different colors for free. I'm using an all black version right now. I'll post a link when I get to a PC.
