I haven't seen it in the camera apps settings but was wondering if there was a way to force max screen brightness when using stock camera app regardless if auto-brightness is on or off or if brightness is low. Camera fv-5 has a setting for it but I feel that the stock camera app has better manual mode.

I would love that.. I love that option in Camera Fv5 but, I don't use or haven't used that app in a very long time..

Naw I just turn my profile to "car" when I use the camera.. It's not at the brightest but it's serviceable..

It would be great if Lux could switch to other profiles when you open certain apps such as the camera or netflix. Or even better if it could detect movement as google maps app and switch to car mode when you're actually in the car

This can be done with a combination of tasker and lux, but it's tricky. I had it going on my g4 for a while, but decided not to bother on my v20.

Well it can be done with root but it would be great if it could be achieved just with lux without root

Here are some screenshots from Tasker, using just the built-in brightness (ie no need for Lux) - do full brightness for both camera and gallery. There are lots of help posts out there for Tasker, so I won't go into that here.

Thank you! I was able to do what I wanted using the task "plugin" then lux and car mode when using certain apps and day mode when exiting those apps
