Why won't my Galaxy S4 charge?

My Galaxy s4 wont charge

So I got the Galaxy s4 only 4 months ago and tonight I go to plug it in to my wall charger that came with my phone and it won't charge. At first, it showed the battery with the lightening bolt showing that it was charging but I looked at it again a few minutes later and my battery percentage was lower than it had just been, until it hit 0% and shut itself off. When off it wasn't charging either. Instead, it vibrates every 4 seconds (Yes, I timed it...) and when I unplug it, it vibrated again... then 30 seconds or so later begins vibrating every 4 seconds as it did when it was plugged in. I pressed the power button and the Galaxy s4 logo came up but then turned off after one second and began viibrating again... The charging battery never even came up. I'm really not sure what's going on with my phone...

Welcome to Android Central! Things you can try:

1. A different USB cable.
2. A different wall charger plug.
3. A new or different battery.
