Android Central Question

Hi,

I'd like to permanently disable the "Ultra Battery Saver" on the Redmi Note 11.
Obviously it can be turned off via the interface - but equally it can be turned on via the same route.
Why?
Because my son has parental controls on his phone, but print it into ultra battery saving mode just kills the apps which then don't restart as it comes out of the saver mode
Also... Telling batter saver to not optimise the apps doesn't help either.
I was wondering whether I could somehow remove the battery saver functionality from the phone altogether or disabled somehow.
Thank you
John

You would need root which you can look at XDA Forum, i thought parental control on can limit whwt kids can do otherwise if you have guest mode try that out and see if it can give limited access to settings

I'll leave a Link to register so you can communicate here, As a guest account you can only post questions but can't reply.

You can do it from your computer by using Android debug bridge. You have to enable developer options and enable USB debugging on your phone. Then download sdk platform tools here: https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools . You might have to i
Download the Google USB driver from here and install on your computer: https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb .

All of the steps are here: https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/

You can skip the pm list packages command by just getting the package name for ultra batter saver app at the bottom of the app info page for that app in your phone settings.
