How to stop automatic download of unwanted apps?

I'm using lenovo A1000. It automatically downloads apps like UC news , mobikwik etc how can i stop this. I turned of auto update from Google play it didn't work. I can't find from which source it is being downloaded.. PLzzz help me

Are you sure it's not a virus? (An anti-virus app would stop that.)

Factory reset and format/clear your data. When you get setup be cautious with the apps you download, and be sure to watch which sites you visit and files you download.
