Restrict background data

Hi all

I have and s6, I accidentally hit "restrict background data".. I see some apps enabled that I previously disabled which I have now fixed.

Will hitting reset app preferences option effect the data usage etc as if so I want to manually modify this should it effect my data

What else does this option change...
