no what you do is. when you open the tool up click on root. it will ask you a yes or no question. you answer no and it will install hboot to your shift then you reboot your phone and click root again on the tool and you click yes...

when it says phone is rooted. reboot your phone again and click check root you should get a pop up on your phone that will allow Super user and you click yes on your phone
Extreme sadness. ShiftRR says my phone is rooted, but rom manager, setcpu, and titanium all say it isnt. And I don't know how to start over. I can't remove Super User, and I don't know about RUU, or what it is. How do I start over?
