Why does my Tablet connect to wifi but keeps seaching for other connections?

Tablet connects to wifi but keeps seaching for other connections

When I connect my tablet to my Wifi I can go on the browser and play some of my online games but one in particular will not work unless it stops searching for other wifi connections. It seems to do this when I start this particular game (monster legends) but the problem does not always come up. Is this a game problem or is there a way to stop the tablet from constantly searching for other networks once it is connected to one?

before anyone tells me to uncheck the "scanning always available" box, it is already unchecked and has never been checked to begin with.

Then it's not scanning for other connections, so there's something strange about the game. Not all software actually works, you know. Some people write the software equivalent of a Toyota, except that they don't recall the software for the equivalent of defective brake pedals.
