AC Question

My Asus Zenfone 2 will not boot. Can't get into recovery mode, because all I get is the "dead android with red triangle" error. Trying to force recovery mode by hitting power and volume up repeatedly gives me this:

E: file path:/tmp/last_install
E: file path:/cache
E: failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: failed to mount /cache
E: failed to set up expected mounts for install; aborting
SD Installation aborted.
E: file path:/cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: file path:/cache/recover/last_log
E: failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
E: file path:/cache/recovery/last_install
E: failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_install
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_install
E: Installation failed with status 1
E: file path:/cache/recovery/last_locale
E: filed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_locale

And then the phone goes right back to the dead android with the red triangle.

I'm pretty much at a complete loss. I have no idea what I could try at this point.
