Streaming keeps cutting out or stopping

[AC Question]

I used to be able to stream audio in the background on the Galaxy Tab S2 while using other apps. Since installing the latest software update, I can no longer do this- if I open another app, streaming stops. Also, if I close the device cover, streaming stops, which it never did before. It is so annoying as I generally multitasking on the device. Is there a patch I can download to fix this?
