    I got my new Pixel 2 XL yesterday but Google Assistant is nowhere to be found.

    When I long press the home key, it brings up a Google search instead. Also when I use the squeeze feature, nothing happens.

    When I go to the calibration screen for squeeze, it only has the option for silencing incoming calls.

    It's like Assistant is not on the phone.

    My 2 xl is on order so I don't have that much experience but as a Windows Phone convert, If I had problems like this, I would try a restart or power down and back up. If that didn't help, I suggest a factory reset and see if this solved the problem. Other than that, I have no other suggestions.
