So...I'll try and make it as easy as possible....but this one is really out there. I have tried (seemingly) all the fixes such as clearing cache, uninstalling/reinstalling, deleting and adding back account so here goes....
Whenever starting the Drive App on both my Galaxy S3 and my Nexus 7 tablet...when the sync starts, the app closes...now the fun is that I know this is somehow linked to the fact that this is an Google Apps for Education account and somewhere in the system that is the issue...now i have full admin rights, but cannot even begin to find a spot where this could be enabled/disabled/messed with...
I know this since if I remove my GAFE account from the device, Drive works fine.....GAFE account on - drive all busted.....Mail works fine still.
The message is always "Unfortunately, Drive has Stopped."
