I know we won't necessarily know for sure until it drops, but I was hoping maybe someone got some hands on time with the GN, or from watching hands on overviews etc. they might answer these questions.
Since Palm died and was the biggest proprieter of the instant silent hardware switch, google integrated the instant silent slider on the lockscreen and it worked well for those "Oh crap, phone going off now would be bad" moments. From the few ICS videos I have seen, it looks like the only lockscreen options now are camera and unlock. Does anyone know if there is a quick way to get the phone silent without unlocking the phone, holding the volume down button, relocking the phone, and putting it back in your pocket/holster?
Also, does anyone know if the lockscreen shortcuts (Camera, silent mode if its there etc) work with the face unlock feature? It seems that when face unlock is on, you need to find your camera shortcut once unlocked instead.
