Just got a One V a while ago and was wondering:

How do I keep the phone ringer on at night (to receive urgent calls), while turning off email and text notifications (so I can sleep)?
Seems they are all on or all off.

Thanks.

You don't say what apps you are using for email and text but those apps might have a setting for "quiet time". I don't text so I cannot help you there but for email I use MailDroid and it has a quiet time setting.

Change the notification ringer to silent. I do it

Mitri360, Thank you for your thought, but I've done that already (and gone over my settings again since your suggestion) to no avail.
I even downloaded Volume Manager app from Google Play. Even when I reduce Notification volume in the app, Ringer volume goes down with it.

Neil154, I am running Gmail and my pop server as email programs. I'll check into "quiet time" (sure could use that at work sometimes :D), then MailDroid if that doesn't work.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks, everyone.
jc411, your post is the one that got through my thick skull.
I'm sure that this is what neil154 and mitri360 were saying, but I just didn't see the appropriate tab(s) before.

You all get a Thanks.
