Try that. I found one cheaper than that that appears to be the same charger but it ships from China. This one ships from California and is only $3 or so more.

Phone does not heat up while charging, and I have European version D855, so charge module included! You got 2 battery's instead...

I have a couple of circular charging plates like these http://m.ebay.com/itm/141393741652?nav=SEARCH - they work fine with my G3 as long as you find the hot zone which is just below the centre of the phone.

I purchased a replacement back off ebay for $25, but I have read of people buying the sticker version cheaper and applying it inside the stock back themselves.

I have the Verizon variant with a slim tpu style case and charge it every night. Mine gets warm to the touch but not hot.
I started using qi with my LG g2 and cannot imagine going back. It's handy to be able to drop my phone in the charger in that dark, not having to worry about fumbling with a plug. It also saves on wear and tear on the micro USB jack.
