Please help!

I was reading a comment on one of the forums here about how to get your pictures back..one person suggested un mounting you SD card and then mounting it back. Well, I did that and not only did my other pictures show up, but the pictures I DID have on, that I took with my camera are gone. Please help, I have my pictures of my child and other important milestone pictures that I was able to capture with just my phone..:'(

If photos were taken by phone then chances are most likely they were being stored on the internal memory.

In such case you can try a method like this:

If they were local photos from before (child hood) that you had saved on your sdcard..and hopefully not internal memory then you can mount your sdcard on the computer and use a program lole recuva I think to recover those pictures.
