I've completely disabled Bixby using Package Disabler Pro. No Root required. Now, when I hit the Bixby button, nothing happens.

I'm on Verizon, and I use Handcent (a.k.a. Next SMS). If the screen is off and a text comes in, Handcent's popup appears with the texr, and allows one to answer, without unlocking the phone. You have to enable this in Handcent settings.

Thanks, I am running Nova Prime and thankfully my battery life does not seem to be any worse than when I was running Touch Wiz...Maybe Google Now has a negative battery impact, but Nova seems ok.

Re: separate gmail accounts on samsung galaxy 7? You can have as many Gmail accounts as you wish, however, they all will reside on the 1 Gmail app. I have 3 accounts (2 for work & 1 personal). After you add the Gmail accounts is the S7 settings menu, they will auto populate to the Gmail App...

I'm on Verizon as well, and I use GV. I have it working as designed on my S7. You need to go into "Settings--->Applications-->Phone-->Voicemail Service--->and set for Google Voice.

I was on the fence because of the keyboard size, but then bought the S7 and downloaded the Swype Keyboard that the S5 came with. Happy with the S7 now.
