Nexus 5x: Anyone else having issues with it not recognizing touch events?

I find that my Nexus 5x doesn't register touch events fairly regularly, as in once every few minutes. I've owned an iPhone 4s, iPhone 5s and Galaxy S5 over the past year and they did not have this issue.

Is this something that other 5x users have noticed or do you think my phone has an intermittent hardware issue?

This has happened to me on a few different handsets including the 5X. But it occurs rarely, and I probably tapped outside the valid touch area. Turn on haptic feedback to test.

I have not had this happen - have you done a reset?

If after that you still have the issue, suggest contacting Google support and get them to exchange the device for you.
