Gave it a go, after decompiling the framework, inserting the cdmasmsdispatcher into the other framework, porting over the framework, media, and app folders, and replacing the libsq pieces and libandroidruntime... I got phone FC spam...

(Just giving a report here to show that I am still interested in this as many people)

I downloaded the the rom in the post from a couple pages ago and got a zip file 23 MB... no rom fits in that size.

Edit: it might not have downloaded correctly.

Edit: Bootanimation IS Black. It's a bad bootanimation.

Update: Boots, Chinese text here and there. I'm gonna try removing some apps and add more IOS apps. Btw guys, the JOY OS apps work on CM7. The LAuncher, Gallery, Camera, MMS.apk. All those work on default CM7.
