Note 3 keeps restarting itself

Just got my father in law a note 3 spent the morning setting it up in the last 10 minutes it's restarted itself about 6 times does anyone know what could be causing this I have not installed any new apps

Is it new? If it is, then it will be out of the box failure.

If not, then a factory reset and reloading OS via odin

Yes it's brand new

Was there an OTA update when checking software updates?

No just checked it says it's up to date

Phoned up o2 they are sending out a new one Tuesday thanx for the help

I know this going to sound crazy. But anyway, my new note 3 is being replaced. It is a factory problem. But, while I'm waiting for my new note 3 to get here, I decided to download utorrent so I could download some files. As long as utorrent is running in the background, it will not restart. Once you close it, it will restart. I don't know why this is. But you are able to use the phone until your new one gets here. Good luck

I got my new phone but the courier forgot to take the old one away so I've still got it I've noticed that if I use it without a sim card just on WiFi there's not a problem don't restart or anything but soon as I put sim card in it restarts itself
